Dear Friends,
I am a graduate of the University of Texas, an attorney and mediator, a Travis County homeowner, a PTA volunteer, and an active parent. I have practiced law in Texas for over twelve years and have handled commercial, real estate, family law and criminal matters, represented children in CPS cases, and peacefully resolved hundreds of lawsuits. I have also worked hard to improve our community as a volunteer.
JP courts hear juvenile truancy cases, civil lawsuits with up to $10,000 in controversy, Class C Misdemeanors and evictions. Although it is not a requirement that a candidate for Justice of the Peace have a law license, Travis County has a long tradition of electing experienced attorneys who are willing to serve our courts. As the only candidate with legal experience
running in this race, I am ready to serve and look forward to putting my legal, business and public service experience to work for you so that our court is fair and efficient.
